Terms of Service
Draft. This page is a working draft written for the private beta, not legal advice. It will be reviewed by a lawyer and replaced before the service takes real payments. Last updated 12 October 2026.
1. The service
Video Generator turns a topic you describe into a documentary-style video, with a script, narration, footage, graphics and music, and gives you the video file, a thumbnail and suggested title, description and tags. It is in private beta and may change, be slow, or be unavailable.
2. Your account
You need an account to make videos. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must provide a real email address.
3. Credits, plans and payments
Videos cost credits (10 credits per minute of finished video). Plans add credits each billing period; credits do not expire. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. If a video cannot be made, its credits are returned automatically. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel any time from Manage subscription; cancelling stops future renewals and keeps your remaining credits. During the beta, payments run in test mode and no real money is taken.
4. What you may make
You may not use the service to make content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, that targets private individuals, or that you have no right to publish. We may refuse or remove a video and close an account that breaks these rules.
5. Content, footage and licences
Scripts are generated from public sources and checked automatically, but they can contain mistakes: review every video before you publish it. Footage and images come from public-domain and openly licensed archives; where a licence requires a credit we add it to the video description, and you must keep it when you publish. Narration voices are provided under the voice provider's licence. You are responsible for how you use and publish the videos.
6. Storage and deletion
Videos are kept for 30 days after their last render and then deleted automatically. Download what you want to keep.
7. Availability and changes
We try to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change features and prices; we will tell you before a price change takes effect on your subscription.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for breaking these terms.
