Turn a sentence
into a documentary

Describe a topic. We research it, write the script, check the facts, record the narration, find the footage, add motion graphics and music, and hand you a finished video with its thumbnail, title and description.

  • Facts checked against the sources
  • Archive footage and photos with credits
  • You download the MP4 and post it yourself
Made from one sentence: “Apollo 11 Moon Landing” (a 30-second excerpt of the 3-minute video).

From idea to finished video

  1. 1

    Say what it's about

Type a topic, pick a length, a look and a narrator. That's the whole brief.

  2. 2

    We research and write

The script is built from real sources, then a second pass checks every claim against them.

  3. 3

    We narrate and edit

A narrator reads it, matching footage is found and checked shot by shot, then it's cut with maps, documents, titles and music.

  4. 4

    You review and download

Swap any shot in the editor, then download the video, thumbnail, title, description and tags.

What you get

Grounded scripts

Written from Wikipedia and other sources, with a fact-check pass that fixes or removes what the sources don't support.

Real footage, not stock clichés

Archive film and photos from public collections, matched to each line and checked by a vision model before they're used.

Motion graphics

Animated maps, document highlights, dates, stats and word slams, placed on the exact words the narrator says.

Music and sound design

A music bed that sits under the voice, plus transitions and effects that follow the cuts.

An editor for the last 10%

Replace a shot, upload your own, change a graphic, preview a scene, then re-render.

Never lose your place

If something goes wrong, your progress is saved, your credits come back, and you retry from the step that failed.

Three editing looks

Pick the style of the whole video. Each look has its own pacing, effects and music mood.

Twelve narrators

Natural neural voices, US, UK, Australian and Irish accents. Press play to hear each one.

Simple pricing, paid in credits

10 credits make one minute of finished video.

Credits don't expire. If a video fails, its credits are refunded automatically.

Questions

How long does a video take?

Today a 3-minute video usually takes one to two hours, because every shot is checked and the finished video is rendered frame by frame. We're working on making it faster.

What does a credit buy?

Ten credits make one minute of finished video, so a 3-minute video uses 30 credits. Starter's 600 credits are 60 minutes of video a month.

Can I post straight to YouTube?

Not yet. You get the MP4, a thumbnail, and a title, description and tags to copy, then post it yourself. That keeps your channel login out of our hands.

Can I use the videos commercially?

The narration voices are licensed, and the footage comes from public-domain and openly licensed archives; where a licence needs a credit, we add it to the description for you. You are responsible for what you publish, so please read the terms (draft).

What topics work best?

Real-world stories with a good paper trail: history, science, politics, technology. The more there is written about it, the better the script and footage.

What happens if a video fails?

Your credits are refunded automatically and you see what went wrong in plain words. Everything finished so far is saved, so “Try again” continues from the step that failed.

How long are my videos kept?

30 days after the last render, and each video shows when it will be deleted. Download what you want to keep.
